How to provide excellent service to disabled people
It provides staff working in customer service roles with guidance on how to provide excellent service to people with disabilities.
DIScover is supported by a training document that was piloted with Council facilities' staff in October 2011. Combined, the resources aim to increase disability awareness, educate staff and in turn enable disabled people to participate more fully in their communities.
The document was funded by the Think Differently campaign that was run by the Ministry of Social Development.
