Advice to disabled people and their families/whānau if support services are disrupted

There may be some disruptions to support worker services as adjustments are made to ensure all support workers are vaccinated.
Disability Service Providers will be working to ensure all critical supports are available.

If people receiving disability support services and are concerned about what this might mean for them, they should communicate with their provider about their needs and their ability to meet those needs over the next few months while the workforce issues are addressed.

In all other situations, such as a change in circumstances, they should contact their local Needs Assessment Service Coordination (NASC).
