1 May 2008 - Ninth Global Forum on Bioethics in Research (GFBR9) - Call for Applications
On behalf of the Partners of the Global Forum on Bioethics in Research, the Health Research Council of New Zealand has pleasure in releasing the Call for Applications for the Ninth Global Forum on Bioethics in Research (GFBR9) which is being held in Auckland, New Zealand on the 3, 4 and 5 December 2008. Full funding will be available to sponsor delegates from developing/transitional countries. Applicants from other countries are welcome to apply if they are able to self-fund attendance. Part-funding may also be available to some delegates. The aim is to have a balance of delegates from all parts of the world, with a majority of sponsored delegates.
Details on GFBR9 are included in the Call for Applications, including the theme (Ethics of research involving indigenous peoples and vulnerable populations), the application and selection process, the award for the successful applicants and the Mission, Values and General Objectives of the Global Forum on Bioethics in Research.
Please complete the application form and email it to GFBR9@hrc.govt.nz to be received by 1 May 2008. The form can also be faxed or posted. Details are in the Call for Applications.
