08: Code of Funding Practice
The Office for the Community and Voluntary Sector and Standards NZ are seeking wider public and government agency input on a draft Code of Funding Practice. When finalised, the Code will assist government agencies and non-profits to work together to build better funding arrangements.
It will address issues such as managing risk and negotiations, high compliance costs, accountability, shared outcomes, monitoring and reporting.
Public feedback closes on May 14 and can be made online or on a comment form on the Standards New Zealand website.
09: Mental Health and Addiction Support workforce
Careerforce is currently building a career pathway for mental health and addiction workers. This work includes a review of the current Mental Health Support Worker National Certificate.
Careerforce is a Community Support Services ITO whose role is to support education and skill development in New Zealand's health and disability sector.
The survey is open from 5 May to 20 May.
