10: National Dementia Strategy
Alzheimers New Zealand is seeking input from organisations or individuals either involved in supporting people with dementia and their community, or those who advocate and support people or organisations who are or may be, affected by dementia.
The deadline for comments is 9 April 2010.

11: Law Commission Review of Privacy Act 1993
The Law Commission is calling for submissions on the preliminary proposals set out in the paper `Review of the Privacy Act 1993'.
Topics covered in the paper include the privacy principles and exemptions, the functions and powers of the Privacy Commissioner and the Privacy Commissioner's complaints process.
In particular they want to draw your attention to Chapter 18: particular groups which include adults with reduced capacity.
Submissions close 30 April 2010.

12: Health and Disability Advocacy National Qualification
Careerforce, Community Support Services ITO Ltd, is holding a web based survey on the proposed Health and Disability Advocacy Qualification.
The proposed qualification is intended for people working as disability advocates in the promotion of consumer rights and the early resolution of complaints.
The survey is open on13 April 2010.

13: New Postgraduate Qualification in Specialist teaching
Massey University and the University of Canterbury are seeking input into the development of a new postgraduate qualification in Specialist Teaching. This qualification will be the new recognised specialist qualification for:
- Resource teachers Learning and Behaviour
- Early intervention teachers
- Resource Teachers Vision/Teachers of Blind and Vision Impaired
- Resource Teachers Deaf/Teachers of the Deaf and Hearing Impaired.
The survey is online and will continue to Friday 23 April 2010.

14: Auckland Social Policy Forum Discussion document
The Minister for Social Development and Employment, Paula Bennett, has released a public discussion document on the Auckland Social Policy Forum.
This document discusses the main features of the Auckland Social Policy Forum (the Forum), including what it will do, how it could work, and how it might relate to the non governmental sector (NGO) and community sector.
The closing date for feedback is Friday 21 May 2010.
