Enabling Good Lives August 2011 report
You can watch a NZSL translation of the Enabling Good Lives August 2011 report. The Enabling Good Lives report presents a new approach to how disability supports are provided. It was produced in August 2011 by an independent experts group, which was commissioned by the Minister for Disability Issues, Hon Tariana Turia. The Ministries of Health and Social Development are working with the experts group to test the Enabling Good Lives approach.

A DVD in NZSL has been produced by the Ministry of Civil Defence & Emergency Management with Deaf Aotearoa that has useful information on the types of disasters that can happen in New Zealand and provides advice on how to be better prepared.
National anthem
Deaf Aotearoa has produced a NZSL translation of the national anthem, both the English and Māori versions. There is also a resource on how to learn the national anthem in NZSL.
Ministry of Education
Thumbs Up! An Introduction to New Zealand Sign Language, has been produced to support the teaching and learning of NZSL as an additional language in English-medium schools for students in years 7–8 working at curriculum levels 1 and 2.
ACC services for the Deaf
ACC has produced a DVD on the services and support ACC can offer to people who are deaf. The DVD illustrates how ACC helped two deaf people to recover from their injuries and the support they received.
