July 2004 to June 2005
Forty one government agencies (36 departments and five crown entities) have submitted work plans on how they intend to implement the NZ Disability Strategy, over the period 1 July 2004 to 30 June 2005. These plans are available in this section in Word format.
This is the fourth year under the New Zealand Disability Strategy that implementation plans have been required to be submitted.
This is the second set of plans for which the Office for Disability Issues has been responsible for co-ordinating. The Office has worked closely with government agencies to continue to build understanding of the New Zealand Disability Strategy. Agencies have been encouraged to focus on activity that will make a real difference in the lives of disabled people.
