July 2007 to June 2008

Reports from government agencies on implementation of the New Zealand Disability Strategy for 2007.

Work Plan 2007-2008 and Report on Progress 2006-2007

Government agencies are required to submit plans to the Office for Disability Issues for their implementation of the New Zealand Disability Strategy. Plans submitted in 2007 are listed below.

These plans continue the three streams of implementation activity:

  • Accessible government (for all government agencies)
  • Including a disability perspective
  • Leading work that makes a difference (for those agencies with a social policy responsibility impacting on disabled people).

Also, for the first time, departments’ reporting on progress in implementing the New Zealand Disability Strategy has been combined into the planning document.
